Ibn Kathir's fake history of Constantine

The following is based on the writings of the Sunni Muslim "historian" and Quran commentator Ibn Kathir in his commentary on Surah 3:55, found on google books volume 2, page 171 and on, and also on the Qtafsir website  The Tafsir Ibn Kathir will be in black, my words in blue.

And I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve, till the Day of Resurrection

This is what happened. When Allah raised `Isa to heaven, his followers divided into sects and groups. Some of them believed in what Allah sent `Isa as, a servant of Allah, His Messenger, and the son of His female-servant.

The vast majority believed in this, only gnostics might object to the identification of him as "the son of His female-servant." Islam itself divided into sects shortly after Muhammad died, and even more wanted to leave Islam. The early Christians were given death threats for STAYING Christians, the early Muslims were given death threats for LEAVING Islam.

However, some of them went to the extreme over `Isa, believing that he was the son of Allah.

No one objected to this at all. How is this an extreme? People debated what "son of God" meant, no early Christians denied Jesus was the son of God since this was synonymous with "Christ" to them. We see in the 4 Gospel accounts Jesus own apostles and disciples call himself the "son of God," the demons and Satan call him "son of God," and even Jesus Himself refers to Himself as "the son of God." As we see in these verses:

Jesus Christ speaking of Himself (called Isa by Muslims):

Amen, amen I say unto you, that the hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live.—John 5:25

John the Baptist (Yahya):

And I saw, and I gave testimony, that this is the Son of God.—John 1:34

Archangel Gabriel (called Jibreel by Muslims):

And the angel answering, said to her: The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the most High shall overshadow thee. And therefore also the Holy which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.—Luke 1:35

Disciples/Apostles of Jesus:

“And they that were in the boat came and adored him, saying: Indeed thou art the Son of God.”—Matthew 14:33

Satan:

“And the tempter coming said to him: If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread."--Matthew 4:3

Demons:

What have we to do with thee, Jesus Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?"--Matthew 8:29

Jesus’ Crucifiers (Roman centurions):

Now the centurion and they that were with him watching Jesus, having seen the earthquake, and the things that were done, were sore afraid, saying: Indeed this was the Son of God.—Matthew 27:54

So based on the fact that we have the 4 accounts of the Gospels telling us Jesus is the “Son of God” with Jesus saying so Himself in John 5:25 with that verse have all variants of it reading “son of God” we have no reason to think Jesus is anything besides the son of God! Any Muslim claim of corruption is baseless. Demonstrating ibn Kathir had little to no knowledge of the Gospels and probably derived all his information from ignorant Islamic sources.

Some of them said that `Isa was Allah Himself,

If by “some” he means Jesus’ own apostles, then yes:

Apostle Thomas speaking to Jesus Christ:

Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!—John 20:28

Apostle John:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.—John 1:1

St Thomas addressed Christ himself, yet Christ did not object to this identification at all, so either He allowed St Thomas to commit idolatry, or He really is God!

while others said that he was one of a Trinity.

Being the Son of God and God are necessary for the Trinity to be true, since we believe there is only One God and that Jesus is not the Father but born of the Father and the Holy Spirit also is God (and not an angel like Muslims foolishly assume) then for monotheism to be true and for them too all be God Trinitarianism must be true too. Other Christian before Constantine sometimes taught the 3 persons were really one person and that the Son is the Father and the Spirit is also, this too was rejected by our leaders like the Popes 100 before Emperor Constantine gathered the council of Nicea.

Allah mentioned these false creeds in the Qur'an and refuted them.

Reading how they state the creed seriously makes you wonder if “Allah” really knew what he was talking about at all.

The Christians remained like this until the third century CE, when a Greek king called, Constantine, became a Christian for the purpose of destroying Christianity.

4th century actually, and there is no evidence Constantine wanted to destroy Christianity. He did not formally become Christian however until his death bed when he was baptized.

Constantine was either a philosopher, or he was just plain ignorant.

Constantine was a military child, he was educated in Latin and Greek and philosophy, but does receiving some philosophical education make you a philosopher?

Constantine changed the religion of `Isa by adding to it and deleting from it. He established the rituals of Christianity and the so-called Great Trust, which is in fact the Great Treachery.

No clue what this “Great Trust” is. We have references to our rituals before Constantine. All of them can be found in the New Testament, and they are referred to before Constantine’s time in Christian writings.

He also allowed them to eat the meat of swine,

This was ALREADY done by Christians, since Christians do not follow dietary laws like the Jews did since we believe a new Law was established by Christ establishing a New Testament, in fact the New Testament explicitly states this in Colossians 2:16

Let no man therefore judge you in meat or in drink, or in respect of a festival day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbaths—Colossians 2:16

Despite this by being written by St Paul, Muslims must admit at least this was done long before Constantine since St Paul lived in the 1st century.

changed the direction of the prayer that `Isa established to the east,

There is no tradition, no information about Jesus instruction people what direction they are to pray in the Bible, we are to assume He prayed facing the Temple as did all Jews at His time due to Solomon establishing it. The custom of praying facing East was known and established 100 years before Constantine:

our being known to turn to the east in prayer.—Tertullian, Apology, Chapter 16, c. AD 200

Praying facing East was a custom of Churches that were never inside the empire of the Romans like Persia, Ethiopia, and India.  Interesting ibn Kathir does not volunteer where Christians prayed facing before that.

built churches for `Isa, and added ten days to the fast as compensation for a sin that he committed, as claimed.

What fast, which fast? No information about the days added, or the sin! Convenient!

So the religion of `Isa became the religion of Constantine, who built more then twelve thousand churches, temples and monasteries for the Christians as well as the city that bears his name, Constantinople (Istanbul).

Temples were just how Christians referred to their church buildings at times, but ibn Kathir makes them sound different. His 12,000 number seems to be an exaggeration, but I cannot prove it.

Throughout this time, the Christians had the upper hand and dominated the Jews. Allah aided them against the Jews because they used to be closer to the truth than the Jews,

Does this make sense at all? Ibn Kathir says what a terrible person Constantine was for intentionally corrupting Christianity and that many Christians already confessed false creeds that he considers idolatry, yet Allah thinks this idolatry is closer to the truth than the non-idolatrous Jews? Christians did not have the upperhand over the Jews until AFTER Constantine.

even though both groups were and still are disbelievers, may Allah's curse descend on them.

Cursing people is an old Muslim pastime, whereas Christian pray for a person to repent and that God drive them to it, Muslims are prone to curse and damn in prayer.

When Allah sent Muhammad , those who believed in him also believed in Allah, His Angels, Books and Messengers in the correct manner. So they were the true followers of every Prophet who came to earth. They believed in the unlettered Prophet , the Final Messenger and the master of all mankind, who called them to believe in the truth in its entirety. This is why they had more right to every Prophet than his own nation, especially those who claim to follow their Prophet's way and religion, yet change and alter his religion. Furthermore, Allah abrogated all the laws that were sent down to the Prophets with the Law He sent Muhammad with, which consists of the true religion that shall never change or be altered until the commencement of the Last Hour

Muslims are proud of Muhammad’s lack of education, and this lack of education is reflected in the Quran.  Interesting that ibn Kathir accuses modern Christianity of being started by Constantine was may have been “plain ignorant” yet when calling Muhammad “unlettered” he does not refer to him as “plain ignorant” when we have more reason for that. The funny thing about this statement is it talks about Muhammad abrogating what other prophets taught, and Muhammad’s own religion does not change—despite much of the Quran being abrogated by other verses in the Quran and by things Muhammad said.

 Muhammad's religion shall always be dominant and victorious over all other religions. This is why Allah allowed Muslims to conquer the eastern and western parts of the world and the kingdoms of the earth. Furthermore, all countries submitted to them; they demolished Kisra (king of Persia) and destroyed the Czar, ridding them of their treasures and spending these treasures for Allah's sake. All this occurred just as their Prophet told them it would, when he conveyed Allah's statement

Muslims did an excellent job of conquering sparsely populated desert lands taking the Middle East and North Africa. Barely making any headway into Europe, they took Spain for hundreds of years only to lose it in the 15th century completely. They took some of the Balkans like Albania, which is now atheist. For a while Europe controlled much of the Middle East, almost all of Africa (except Ethiopia) and other lands, yet the Muslim religion “shall always be dominant and victorious.” Even in our present times the Muslims completely outnumbered the Israelis in war, yet the Israelis won and took some Muslim land! So much for always being dominant and victorious!

Catechism and Muslims salvation

I have heard many anti-Catholics say that the Catechism says "Muslims are saved!" Then they "prove" it with this CCC quote

841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

I always wonder how this says Muslims are saved! All it does say is that the "plan of salvation" includes the Muslims. That just means God wants to save Muslims too, in fact God wants EVERYONE to be saved. The only people that should object to this are Calvinists because of their limited atonement doctrine.  This does NOT mean Muslims are saved or will be saved, it just means God WANTS everyone to be saved, the issue of Muslims actually being saved is not the issue of this paragraph at all.

The Catechism shortly after this paragraph states God wills all men be saved:

Missionary motivation. It is from God's love for all men that the Church in every age receives both the obligation and the vigor of her missionary dynamism, "for the love of Christ urges us on."³⁴³ Indeed, God "desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth";³⁴⁴ that is, God wills the salvation of everyone through the knowledge of the truth. Salvation is found in the truth. Those who obey the prompting of the Spirit of truth are already on the way of salvation. But the Church, to whom this truth has been entrusted, must go out to meet their desire, so as to bring them the truth. Because she believes in God's universal plan of salvation, the Church must be missionary. --Catechism of the Catholic Church 851

Notice the term "plan of salvation" is used here for EVERYONE too? Does this mean everyone is saved? Certainly not, otherwise evangelism is pointless. The only ones I can imagine that would object to the term "plan of salvation" would be Calvinists who believe God only wants a few people saved.

Answering Islamic claims concerning the Quran

Claim #1: It seems that the prophethood of Mohammad has for a miracle the Quran.

Reasons for fittingness:

Myth #1: Each prophet is given signs that are suitable to his audience, for Moses had an audience of the best sorcerers, so he was given powers to excel them in extraordinary signs, Christ was sent to a society that was most advanced in medicine, so He was given powers to heal, Mohammad was sent to a society of the most eloquent men, so it was necessary that his miracle would be one of eloquence.

On the contrary, Firstly, we do not know what ignorant invented this fable, for sorcery had always been widespread in almost all nations, and Egyptians were not known for sorcery as much as it was for their technological advancements in areas such as building, (ex: pyramids, temples) medicine, (ex: mummification). Secondly, Palestine was anything but the best in medicine, and cannot even be compared with other places in the field of medicine such as Greece or Persia. As for eloquence, it is a pure myth that the Arabs were the most eloquent nation (and a indication of a belief in Arab supremacy), for almost the only form of literature we have from them is rhyming poetry, not prose or theatre plays, nor polemics or the other forms of rhetoric. And how will we compare them with the eloquence of Syriacs like St. Ephrem of Nisibis, or the eloquence of Greece, when Aristotle (whom many Arabs later fell in love with, after his works were translated into Arabic by Syriacs) had written an eternal work on the art of rhetoric, and he was born nearly 950 years before Mohammad was! Or what shall we say about Antioch, wherefrom came the likes of St. John Chrysostom, who was called “golden mouth” for his eloquence? Or what shall we say about Beirut, called the mother of legislations, which graduated the best lawyers and speakers for the world? This myth can only deceive the uneducated. Furthermore, what shall we say about Dante, or Shakespeare? If eloquence is a miracle, then they have a right to claim prophethood. And if every artistic masterpiece (not that the Quran is one) is a miracle, then Beethoven is the first among prophets, and he even composed many symphonic masterpieces though he was deaf! The same goes for the paintings and carvings of Michelangelo, and all other great artists. Furthermore, we do not see why the Quran is more eloquent than the poems of Imru' al-Qais or the oration of the Christian priest Qis Ben Sa'ida which pre-date Mohammad, or the brilliant poetry of Al-Mutanabby (who surely knew that if eloquence is a sign of prophethood, he had a right to claim it, and so he did. Yet, unlike Mohammad who used trickery to escape from his enemies, Al-Motanabby's enemies caught him, so he was imprisoned and then released when he submitted that he will not claim prophecy anymore), or even Abu Alaa' el-Ma'arry, who, struck with smallpox and blindness since his infancy, wrote 10701 verses of unmatchable poetry and eloquence, in his “Luzumiyyat”, and using a very difficult technique in which had been unprecedented. And if the reader will say does not understand Arabic (or archaic Arabic) and thus cannot appreciate and judge the quality of these people's works, the same applies for the Quran, so why do you take for granted that it's most eloquent when you cannot even read or understand it, let alone compare it with other works?

Myth #2: Former nations were sensual, and humanity was in its infancy, that is why God gave them miracles that correspond to the senses. As for the nation of Arabs, they were so advanced and intellectual that God granted them an intellectual miracle, which is the Quran.

On the contrary, This is another myth, put forward by Jalal ed-Din As-Sayouti, and one that depicts a belief in Arab supremacy. It is enough for a reply to remind As-Sayouti that the Arabs themselves called the period before Islam "Aj-jahiliyya" which means "[the age of] ignorance" (!), and Muslims themselves have been the greatest propagandists for the ignorance and barbarism of the Arabs before Mohammad in order to prove that he brought positive changes to their lives (famous examples are that Arabs practiced burying their infant daughters alive because they preferred boys, and had nothing to do in their lives other than to raid each other's tribes to seize green land to feed their cattle). The truth is that the Arabs did not know philosophy or any advanced intellectual sciences of the like until a few hundred years after Mohammad, when the sciences of the nations were translated to Arabic (ironically, not by Arabs, but by Syriacs!). As for Greece, she had known philosophy and intellectual advancement more than 1000yrs before Mohammad was born. Moreover, even after Islam and after the philosophical works of Aristotle et al. were translated into Arabic, we do not find any great Arabic philosopher. For example, Ibnu Sina (Avicenna) was Persian, like Al-Faraby and Al-Ghazzali. Even the man who wrote down the rules for the Arabic language & poetry, named "Sibaweih", was a Persian!

Now we shall study whether the Quran is truly a miracle.

Proposition #1: Mohammad challenged his audience, saying: “If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof (Ar: mithlihi), even if they backed up each other with help and support,” (AL-ISRA/17, 88) [1] and nobody has been able to produce something like it, therefore it is a miracle.

On the contrary, (1) Mohammad himself admitted that there is something like the Quran: “Say: Have you considered if it is from Allah, and you disbelieve in it, and a witness from among the children of Israel has borne witness of one like it (Ar: mithlihi),” (AL-AHQAF/46 ,10) Commentators explain that this refers to the Torah of Moses.[2] Thus, the Jews and Christians do have what is like the Quran, by the testimony of the Quran, and the challenge is thus refuted.

I answer that, Firstly, Muslims have already decided & firmly believe that nothing can be equally eloquent to the Quran, therefore no matter what is put forward, they will immediately dismiss it, because they have decided a priori that nothing is as eloquent as the Quran. It’s a revolving door.

Secondly, what we said in our reply to Myth #2 can also be repeated here, for we have sufficiently demonstrated how artistic beauty cannot be a miracle, and furthermore, it is in itself unique and inimitable, because it is the result of an individual’s creative work and unique personality which can only be found in him.

Thirdly, if the Quran were Mohammad’s miracle, he would’ve said that to his challengers (who did not save any opportunity to demand miracles from him), but in all such stories that the Quran reports, its position regarding miracles is negative (we have mentioned a few of these instances in the introduction).

Fourthly, if the Quran were Mohammad’s miracle, and the greatest miracle in the history of mankind, he would’ve repeated that throughout all his days of preaching, considering the fact that the Meccans were continuously ridiculing him and asking him to bring a miracle, and many times he was frustrated because of this. (cf. AL-HIJR/15, 97; HUD/11, 12 etc.) However, we find this challenge given first in the 50^th chapter (Sura) that was given in Mecca! That was only one year before he left Mecca, that is, 12 years after he allegedly received the first message from the angel (!) After the challenge in (AL-ISRA/17, 88), he challenged them in (YUNUS/10, 38) to “bring then a Sura like unto it,” then in (HUD/11, 13): “Bring ye then ten suras (i.e. chapters) invented, like unto it,” and the last one came in the first chapter he gave in Al-Madina[3], (AL-BAQARA/2, 23) “produce a Sura like thereunto.” This was the last challenge ever to be given. Thus, if the Quran was Mohammad’s greatest miracle, and the greatest miracle ever given to humanity by the last and best prophet, why did he first mention it after 12yrs he received his message, in a period of approximately 2yrs, only four times?!

Fifhtly, Muslims themselves cannot agree what exactly is miraculous about the Quran, and this is enough proof that it cannot be a miracle which is, by nature, self-imposing. In fact, As-Sayyouti mentioned[4] 18 different opinions as to what aspect is miraculous about the Quran, and this is itself enough proof that it isn’t miraculous, since miracles are self-evident.

We shall now look at the most common claimed aspect of miraculousness in the Quran.

Myth #1: The Quran is miraculous in terms of its eloquence.

On the contrary, Firstly, Islam claims to be a religion for every human on the earth, the miracles of its prophet should be accessible to every human. However, to appreciate this alleged miracle of eloquence, every human person has to learn Arabic, and not only that, but he has to master the language, keeping in mind that the archaic Arabic of the Quran in the 7th century is very different from the formal Arabic of today, and even modern formal Arabic is not spoken by any nation in its daily life, but rather dialects are used, which are more or less different from formal Arabic. Thus, there are approximately 1,000,000,000 Muslims today, approximately 200,000,000[5] of which are Arabs. That means approximately 80% of Muslims worldwide don’t understand Arabic, and so are clueless as to the eloquence or the lack thereof in the Quran! And of the Muslim Arabs, approximately 40% are illiterate[6], and most of the rest have not specialized in studying the Quran's archaic Arabic in order to appreciate this alleged miracle of eloquence. Thus all these Muslims cannot appreciate or judge this claimed miracle. In sum, a miracle is for everybody, but the Quran is only for the elite of specialists in archaic Arabic.[7]

Furthermore, any fair reader will notice the inadequacy of the Quran compared to what should be a divinely eloquent book:

Inadequacy #1: Grammatical errors

These following mistakes are so embarrassing; we do not understand how people can still claim the Quran is a miracle when it has such flagrant errors of grammar:

“They said: These are most surely two magicians.” (TA-HA/20, 63) Transliterated in Arabic, “Qaloo inna hathani lasahirani,” the correct form is “hathayni” not “hathani.”

“Inna allatheena amanoo waallatheena hadoo waalssabi-oona” (AL-MAEDA/5, 69). The correct form is “waalssabi-ina.”  (The correct form appears in AL-BAQARA/2, 62 and AL-HAJJ/22, 17)

“Lakini alrrasikhoona fee alAAilmi minhum waalmu/minoona yu/minoona bima onzila ilayka wama onzila min qablika waalmuqeemeena alssalata” (AN-NISA/4, 62). The correct form is “waalmuqeemouna.”

“la yanalu AAahdee alththalimeena” (AL-BAQARA/2, 124) The correct form is “alththalimouna.”

“waalmoofoona biAAahdihim itha AAahadoo waalssabireena fee alba/sa-i” (AL-BAQARA/2, 177) The correct form: “waalssabirouna.”

As-Sajistani reports: “Narrated by Abdullah, from Amr bin Abdullah al-Awdi, from Abu Moaawiya, from Hisham ben Aarwa, from his father, he said: I asked Aisha [Mohammad’s wife] on the Quran’s grammatical error in (TA-HA/20, 63), (AN-NISA/4, 62) and (AL-MAEDA/5, 69), and she said: O, son of my sister, this is the work of scribes, they have written wrongly.” (Al-Masahif, part 2, p. 34 http://www.answering-islam.org/Books/kam/p034.htm ) This actually opens up the subject of the Quran’s corruption, which we will cover later on.

Inadequacy #2: Plagiarism

We quote from “Fayd Al Qadir Fi Sharh Aj-jamii As-saghir,”[8] the renowned explanation of As-Sayyouti’s “Aj-jamii As-saghir.”

“[The pre-Islamic Arabic poet] Imru’ Al-Qais spoke of the Quran before it was sent down [i.e. from God], he said:

‘The man wishes it were winter during summer, and when winter comes, he rejects it’

‘He is not pleased with one state, cursed be man! How ungrateful is he!’[9]

And he said:

‘The hour is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder, because of a gazelle that hunted my heart and ran away’[10]

And he said:

‘When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, and the earth brings forth her burdens’

‘The people rise to their prophets; to the day of judgment they see themselves [going?]’

‘To be judged by a righteous judge, [the result will be] either for them or against them’[11]

Inadequacy #3: Contradictions

Muslims have a science which deals with the subject of contradictions in the Quran and Mohammad’s teachings, it is called the science of “the abrogating and abrogated” verses (Ar: An-nasekh wal mansoukh). For, according to Muslims & the Quran, the contradictions in the teachings of Mohammad are to be explained by a certain phenomenon: later verses (or teachings) that contradict former ones abrogate them.

In this section we will give a few contradictions, some related to the phenomenon of abrogation and some not.

Example #1: The Torah and Gospel, God’s word or not?

“It was We who revealed the law [Torah] (to Moses): therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews, by the prophets who bowed to Allah's will, by the rabbis and the doctors of law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's book, and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men, but fear me, and sell not my signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) Unbelievers. And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah. Let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel.  (AL-MAEDA/5, 44,46-47)

 “And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee.” (YUNUS/10, 92)

Contradicted by:

“Of the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places.” (AN-NISA/4 ,46)

“And certainly Allah made a covenant with the children of Israel… they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded” (AL-MAEDA/5, 12-13)

“A party from among them indeed used to hear the Word of Allah, then altered it after they had understood it, and they know (this).”(AL-BAQARA/2, 75)

Example #2: Christians & Jews, saved or not?

“Lo! Those who believe [i.e. in Mohammad], and those who are Jews, and Christians, and Sabaeans - whoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right - surely their reward is with their Lord, and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.” (AL-BAQARA/2, 62)

“I will make those who follow thee [i.e. Jesus] superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection” (AL-E-IMRAN/3, 55)

Contradicted by:

“Surely the (true) religion with Allah is Islam” (AL-E-IMRAN/3, 19)

“And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers” (ibid. 85)

Example #3: Wine: from God or Satan?

“And Allah has sent down water from the cloud and therewith given life to the earth after its death; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who would listen. And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle… And of the fruits of the palms and the grapes-- you obtain from them intoxication and goodly provision; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who ponder.” (AN-NAHL/16, 65-67)

Contradicted by:

“O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: Leave it aside in order that ye may succeed.” (AL-MAEDA/5, 90)

(Nonetheless, Mohammad promised his followers wine in Heaven: “Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed” (AL-MUTAFFIFIN/83, 25))

Example #4: Religious freedom

“There is no compulsion in religion.” (AL-BAQARA/2, 256)

“Say: O unbelievers! … You shall have your religion and I shall have my religion.” (AL-KAFIROON/109, 1,6)

“Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious” (AN-NAHL/16, 125)

“And if your Lord had pleased, surely all those who are in the earth would have believed, all of them; will you then force men till they become believers?” (YUNUS/10, 99)

 “but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants” (AL-E-IMRAN/3, 20)

“therefore turn aside from them and admonish them, and speak to them effectual words concerning themselves.” (AN-NISA/4, 63)

“Had Allah willed, they had not been idolatrous. We have not set thee as a keeper over them, nor art thou responsible for them.” (AL-ANAAM/6, 107)

“And have patience with what they say, and leave them with noble (dignity).” (AL-MUZZAMMIL/73, 10)

“turn away with kindly forgiveness” (AL-HIJR/15, 85)

“Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; But turn away from the ignorant.” (AL-ARAF/7, 199)

“thy duty is to make (the Message) reach them: it is our part to call them to account.” (AL-RAD/13, 40)

“And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace.” (AL-FURQAN/25, 63)

“But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace” (AL-ANFAL/8, 61)

Contradicted by:

“slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush” (AL-TAWBA/9, 5)

“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger [i.e. Mohammad], nor acknowledge the religion of Truth [i.e. Islam], (even if they are) of the People of the Book [i.e. Jews & Christians], until they pay the Jizya [i.e. tax] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” (ibid. 29)

“Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers, smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them)…” (MUHAMMAD/47, 4)

“but if they turn back, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks” (AN-NISA/4, 89) (compare with: “but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants” (AL-E-IMRAN/3, 20))

“Strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them” (AL-ANFAL/8, 12)

“Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost” (MUHAMMAD/47, 35)

“And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere” (AL-ANFAL/8, 39)

These examples are clear doctrinal teachings that were abrogated and contradict each other. Some might say that the teachings that talk about peace were meant to be temporary & concerned with special occasions, however, the great number and sweeping statements of the Quran were first very clear that “There is no compulsion in religion.” (AL-BAQARA/2, 256)

As-Sayyouti[12] says that the verses on fighting did not abrogate the former ones on religious freedom, but rather suspended them, i.e. when Muslims are weak, they seek peace, and when they are strong enough, they fight the others, and this view is even more insidious.

Immoralities in Mohammedan teachings:

Advocating deception:

“Let not the believers take disbelievers for their friends in preference to believers. Whoso doeth that hath no connection with Allah unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them, taking (as it were) security.” (AL-E-IMRAN/3, 28)

Ibnu Kathir explains: “(unless you indeed fear a danger from them) meaning, except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly. For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda' said, "We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.'' Al-Bukhari said that Al-Hasan said, "The Tuqyah [i.e. deceptive outward behavior] is allowed until the Day of Resurrection.''[1]

Sexual privileges for Mohammad

“O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large);” (AL-AHZAB /33, 50)

Spreading hatred between family members & humans:

“O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers.” (AL-TAWBA/9, 23)

“O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.” (AL-MAEDA/5, 51)

“Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming.” (AL-E-IMRAN/3, 28)

No captives until you slaughter

“It is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land.” (AL-ANFAL/8, 67)

Bestiality:

Narrated by Abi Huraira: “If he sits amidst her four parts then fatigues her, he must wash.”[2]

Imam Al-Nawawi’s commentary on this hadith explains that some considered the “four parts” as a reference to the hands & feet of the woman, but also applies it to bestiality, insisting that in this case, the human must wash! (We shall refrain from translating the commentary because of the foul language; those who speak Arabic can read it in the same aforementioned reference.)

Paradise is under the shades of swords

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 73: Narrated 'Abdullah bin Abi Aufa: Allah's Apostle said, "Know that Paradise is under the shades of swords."[3]

Adult breastfeeding

(The Arabs considered breastfeeding to cause blood relations. Thus, when faced with the question of protecting women from the danger of adultery with men, Mohammad’s solution was: breastfeed them.)

Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3425: 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Salim has attained (purbety) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared.[4]

Ibid. Number 3428: Zainab daughter of Abu Salama reported: I heard Umm Salama, the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon himy, saying to 'A'isha: By Allah, I do not like to be seen by a young boy who has passed the period of fosterage, whereupon she ('A'isha) said: Why is it so? Sahla daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Allah's Messenger, I swear by Allah that I see in the face of Abu Hudhaifa (the signs of disgust) on account of entering of Salim (in the house), whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him. She (Sahla bint Suhail) said: He has a [b]eard. But he (again) said: Suckle him, and it would remove what is there (expression of disgust) on the face of Abu Hudhaifa. She said: (I did that) and, by Allah, I did not see (any sign of disgust) on the face of Abu Hadhaifa.

Allowing killing women & children

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 256: Narrated As-Sab bin Jaththama: The Prophet passed by me at a place called Al-Abwa or Waddan, and was asked whether it was permissible to attack the pagan warriors at night with the probability of exposing their women and children to danger. The Prophet replied, "They (i.e. women and children) are from them (i.e. pagans)." I also heard the Prophet saying, "The institution of Hima is invalid except for Allah and His Apostle."[5]

For each Muslim who dies, God throws a Jew or a Christian into Hell:

Sahih Muslim, Book 037, Number 6666: Abu Burda reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: No Muslim would die but Allah would admit in his stead a Jew or a Christian in Hell-Fire…[6]

Unbelievers are the worse vile animals

“Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve” (AL-ANFAL/8, 55)

God places the sins of Muslims on Jews & Christians:

Sahih Muslim, Book 037, Number 6665: Abu Musa' reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: When it will be the Day of Resurrection Allah would deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say: That is your rescue from Hell-Fire.[7]

Sahih Muslim, Book 037, Number 6668: Abu Burda reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There would come people amongst the Muslims on the Day of Resurrection with as heavy sins as a mountain, and Allah would forgive them and He would place in their stead the Jews and the Christians...[8]

Satan urinates in one’s ears:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 492: Narrated 'Abdullah: It was mentioned before the Prophet that there was a man who slept the night till morning (after sunrise). The Prophet said, "He is a man in whose ears (or ear) Satan had urinated."[9]

Yawning is from Satan:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 509: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Yawning is from Satan and if anyone of you yawns, he should check his yawning as much as possible, for if anyone of you (during the act of yawning) should say: 'Ha', Satan will laugh at him."[10]

Satan stays in the upper nose:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 516: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night."[11]

When people are called for prayer Satan comes farting:

Volume 4, Book 54, Number 505: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "When the call for the prayer is pronounced, Satan takes to his heels, passing wind with noise, [literally: farting] When the call for the prayer is finished, he comes back. And when the Iqama is pronounced, he again takes to his heels, and after its completion, he returns again to interfere between the (praying) person and his heart, saying to him. 'Remember this or that thing.' till the person forgets whether he has offered three or four Rakat: so if one forgets whether he has prayed three or four Rak'a-t, he should perform two prostrations of Sahu (i.e. forgetfulness)."[12]

Satan places 3 knots at the back of our heads while asleep:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 491: Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "During your sleep, Satan knots three knots at the back of the head of each of you, and he breathes the following words at each knot, 'The night is, long, so keep on sleeping,' If that person wakes up and celebrates the praises of Allah, then one knot is undone, and when he performs ablution the second knot is undone, and when he prays, all the knots are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and gay, otherwise he gets up dull and gloomy. "[13]

The Sun rises between the two sides of Satan’s head:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 494: Narrated Ibn Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "When the (upper) edge of the sun appears (in the morning), don't perform a prayer till the sun appears in full, and when the lower edge of the sun sets, don't perform a prayer till it sets completely. And you should not seek to pray at sunrise or sunset for the sun rises between two sides of the head of the devil (or Satan)."[14]

When crows cock, they’ve seen an angel; when donkeys bray, they’ve seen a demon:

Volume 4, Book 54, Number 522: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "When you hear the crowing of cocks, ask for Allah's Blessings for (their crowing indicates that) they have seen an angel. And when you hear the braying of donkeys, seek Refuge with Allah from Satan for (their braying indicates) that they have seen a Satan."[15]

Forcing people to be Muslims or pay obligatory taxes while humiliated, or die

“So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful” (AL-TAWBA/9, 5)

“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” (AL-TAWBA/9, 29)

Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Number 4294: It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraid through his father that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say: Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of Muhajirs and inform them that, if they do so, they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajirs. If they refuse to migrate, tell them that they will have the status of Bedouin Muslims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or Fai' except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the disbelievers). If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them.”[16]

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 260: Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.'"[17]

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 53, Number 392: Narrated Abu Huraira: While we were in the Mosque, the Prophet came out and said, "Let us go to the Jews" We went out till we reached Bait-ul-Midras. He said to them, "If you embrace Islam, you will be safe. You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle, and I want to expel you from this land. So, if anyone amongst you owns some property, he is permitted to sell it, otherwise you should know that the Earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle."[18]

So it’s either become Muslims or I will drive you away from you homes and take over your land!

Women

Inferior to their husbands

“Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other…” (AN-NISA/4, 34)

The man has the right to beat the woman:

So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, [first] admonish them and [next] banish them to beds apart, and [lastly] beat them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them.” (ibid.)

Mohammad condones the beating of a wife

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 72, Number 715: Narrated 'Ikrima: Rifa'a divorced his wife whereupon 'AbdurRahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi married her. 'Aisha said that the lady (came), wearing a green veil (and complained to her (Aisha) of her husband and showed her a green spot on her skin caused by beating). It was the habit of ladies to support each other, so when Allah's Apostle came, 'Aisha said, "I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!" When 'AbdurRahman heard that his wife had gone to the Prophet, he came with his two sons from another wife. She said, "By Allah! I have done no wrong to him but he is impotent and is as useless to me as this," holding and showing the fringe of her garment, 'Abdur-Rahman said, "By Allah, O Allah's Apostle! She has told a lie! I am very strong and can satisfy her but she is disobedient and wants to go back to Rifa'a." Allah's Apostle said, to her, "If that is your intention, then know that it is unlawful for you to remarry Rifa'a unless Abdur-Rahman has had sexual intercourse with you." Then the Prophet saw two boys with 'Abdur-Rahman and asked (him), "Are these your sons?" On that 'AbdurRahman said, "Yes." The Prophet said, "You claim what you claim (i.e.. that he is impotent)? But by Allah, these boys resemble him as a crow resembles a crow."[19]

Instead of defending the beaten wife or changing the verse instructing men to beat their wives, Mohammad actually defends the man!

Mohammad beats the wife he married when she was 9yrs old (he died when she was 18)

Book 004, Number 2127: Muhammad b. Qais said (to the people): Should I not narrate to you (a hadith of the Holy Prophet) on my authority and on the authority of my mother? We thought that he meant the mother who had given him birth. He (Muhammad b. Qais) then reported that it was 'A'isha who had narrated this: Should I not narrate to you about myself and about the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him)? We said: Yes. She said: When it was my turn for Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) to spend the night with me, he turned his side, put on his mantle and took off his shoes and placed them near his feet, and spread the corner of his shawl on his bed and then lay down till he thought that I had gone to sleep. He took hold of his mantle slowly and put on the shoes slowly, and opened the door and went out and then closed it lightly. I covered my head, put on my veil and tightened my waist wrapper, and then went out following his steps till he reached Baqi'. He stood there and he stood for a long time. He then lifted his hands three times, and then returned and I also returned. He hastened his steps and I also hastened my steps. He ran and I too ran. He came (to the house) and I also came (to the house). I, however, preceded him and I entered (the house), and as I lay down in the bed, he (the Holy Prophet) entered the (house), and said: Why is it, O 'A'isha, that you are out of breath? I said: There is nothing. He said: Tell me or the Subtle and the Aware would inform me. I said: Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be ransom for you, and then I told him (the whole story). He said: Was it the darkness (of your shadow) that I saw in front of me? I said: Yes. He struck me on the chest which caused me pain…”[20]

Men have advantage over women

“Men have a degree (of advantage) over them.” (AL-BAQARA/2, 228)

The woman gets half of the male’s inheritance share

“Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females” (AN-NISA/4, 11)

A man’s testimony equals the testimony of two women, and a woman’s testimony alone is not admissible

“…and get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her.” (AL-BAQARA/2, 282)

For example, if a woman gets raped, she cannot accuse her rapist until she can produce at least two male witnesses, (the second of which can be replaced by two women) (!), and this is nonsensical, since rape is not done in public.

Women captured in wars can be raped even if married

“Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess…Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess.” (AN-NISA/4, 3, 24)

Mohammad and his fellow warriors used to rape women after raids, sometimes even in the very day they murder their husbands and relatives.

The woman is a crooked rib

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 113: Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "The woman is like a rib; if you try to straighten her, she will break. So if you want to get benefit from her, do so while she still has some crookedness."[21] [We consider this  translation more faithful: “If you wish to derive pleasure from her, you derive it while she remains a crooked rib.”]

Women are the most harmful affliction to men:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 33: Narrated Usama bin Zaid: The Prophet said, "After me I have not left any affliction more harmful to men than women."[22]

The majority of the damned are women; women are most deficient in intelligence and religion

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 24, Number 541: Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: On 'Id ul Fitr or 'Id ul Adha Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) went out to the Musalla [i.e. place of prayer]. After finishing the prayer, he delivered the sermon and ordered the people to give alms. He said, "O people! Give alms." Then he went towards the women and said. "O women! Give alms, for I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-Fire were you (women)." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is the reason for it?" He replied, "O women! You curse frequently, and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you…”[23]

A woman cannot pray not fast during her menstruation:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 6, Number 301: Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: Once Allah's Apostle went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) o 'Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Apostle ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."[24]

Women are evil omen:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 30: Narrated Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "Evil omen is in the women, the house and the horse.'[25]

Genocide:

Ibnu Hisham records that Mohammad killed (most probably by beheading) 600 or 700 person from the people of Qurayzah (also Quraida) , & records that some say 800 or 900.[26]

Sunan Abu-Dawood, Book 38, Number 4390: Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi: I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions [of Mohammad]) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.[27]

War Crimes

Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Number 4366: It has been narrated by 'Umar b. al-Khattib that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.[28]

Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Number 4292: Ibn 'Aun reported: I wrote to Nafi' inquiring from him whether it was necessary to extend (to the disbelievers) an invitation to accept (Islam) before m". ing them in fight. He wrote (in reply) to me that it was necessary in the early days of Islam. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) made a raid upon Banu Mustaliq while they were unaware and their cattle were having a drink at the water. He killed those who fought and imprisoned others. On that very day, he captured Juwairiya bint al-Harith. Nafi' said that this tradition was related to him by Abdullah b. Umar who (himself) was among the raiding troops.[29]

Invoking evil upon others

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 69: Narrated Anas bin Malik: For thirty days Allah's Apostle invoked Allah to curse those who had killed the companions of Bir-Mauna; he invoked evil upon the tribes of Ral, Dhakwan, and Usaiya who disobeyed Allah and His Apostle. There was reveled about those who were killed at Bir-Mauna a Quranic Verse we used to recite, but it was cancelled later on. The Verse was: "Inform our people that we have met our Lord. He is pleased with us and He has made us pleased"[30]

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 415: Narrated Anas: Allah's Apostle said Al-Qunut for one month after the posture of Bowing, invoking evil upon some 'Arab tribes. [31]

Cursing (abusing):

“Perish the hands of the Abu-Lahab! Perish he!” (AL-MASADD/111, 1) Al-Jalayayn explains: “Perish, ruined be, the hands of Abū Lahab, in other words, all of him - the use of 'hands' here to denote [all of] him is figurative, and is because most actions are performed by them; the statement is an invocation - and perish he!, may he be ruined!”[32]

When the people of Quraida (who were Jews) cursed him after he besieged their city, he replied “O brothers of monkeys and pigs… do you curse me?”[33]

Sahih Muslim, Book 032, Number 6285: A'isha reported that two persons visited Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and both of them talked about a thing, of which I am not aware, but that annoyed him and he invoked curse upon both of them and hurled malediction, and when they went out I said: Allah's Messenger, the good would reach everyone but it would not reach these two. He said: Why so? I said: Because you have invoked curse and hurled malediction upon both of them. He said: Don't you know that I have made condition with my Lord saying thus: O Allah, I am a human being and that for a Muslim upon whom I invoke curse or hurl malediction make it a source of purity and reward.[34]

So Mohammad here cursed other Muslims, and made “a condition” with his Lord, asking him to turn his curses and maledictions upon Muslims into sources of purity and reward, which is an explicit admitting that he cursed other Muslims in other occasions as well. Let us compare that with his own words:

Musnad Ahmad, 20284: “… If someone consoles himself by something from the age of Jahiliyya (i.e. before Mohammad), tell him ‘bite the [we refrain from mentioning the word] of your father’”[35]

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 88, Number 197: Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet, said, "Abusing [i.e. cursing] a Muslim is Fusuq (evil doing) and killing him is Kufr (disbelief)."[36]

Thus, Mohammad is, by his own standards, a “faseq,” evildoer, and inciter to evildoing.

Demanding a tax in exchange for speaking with him:

“O ye who believe! When ye consult the Messenger in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation” (AL-MUJADILA/58, 12)

(When everybody stopped consulting him except Ali Bin Abi Talib, he abrogated this verse by ibid. v. 13, cf. Ibnu Kathir’s exegesis http://www.tafsir.com/default.asp?sid=58&tid=52933 )

Homosexual acts with infants:

Mohammad “named him [i.e. his cousin who was a newborn infant, the son of Abou Talib] ‘Ali’ and fed him for days from his blessed saliva by sucking his tongue. And [Ali’s mother] ‘Fatima’ … reported: When I gave him [i.e. Ali] birth he [i.e. Mohammad] called him ‘Ali’ and spat in his mouth then he fed him with his tongue and he [the child] kept sucking his [Mohammad’s] tongue until he slept, and the next day we demanded a woman to breastfeed him, but he would not accept anyone’s breast, so we called upon Mohammad to come to him, so he fed him his tongue and he slept.”[37]

Homosexual signs:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 8, Number 360: Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: While Allah's Apostle was carrying stones (along) with the people of Mecca for (the building of) the Ka'ba wearing an Izar (waist-sheet cover), his uncle Al-'Abbas said to him, "O my nephew! (It would be better) if you take off your Izar and put it over your shoulders underneath the stones." So he took off his Izar and put it over his shoulders, but he fell unconscious and since then he had never been seen naked.[38]

Sunan At-Tirmathy, Narrated by Aisha: Zaid Bin Haritha came from Al Madina and the Apostle of Allah was in my house, so he came to him and knocked on the door. The Apostle of Allah arose to meet him naked, dragging his dress behind him… and he hugged him and kissed him.”[39]

Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 41, Number 5205: Narrated Usayd ibn Hudayr,: AbdurRahman ibn AbuLayla, quoting Usayd ibn Hudayr, a man of the Ansar, said that while he was given to jesting and was talking to the people and making them laugh, the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) poked him under the ribs with a stick. He said: Let me take retaliation. He said: Take retaliation. He said: You are wearing a shirt but I am not. The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) then raised his shirt and the man embraced him and began to kiss his side. Then he said: This is what I wanted, Apostle of Allah![40]

Mohammad also had an eyeliner, and applied eyeliners, each night three times around each the right eye, and twice around the left eye.[41] He encouraged his followers to use eyeliners as well.[42]

Double-Murder of a wife and her unborn child: Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 38, Number 4348: “Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas:  A blind man had a slave-mother who used to abuse the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) and disparage him. He forbade her but she did not stop. He rebuked her but she did not give up her habit. One night she began to slander the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) and abuse him. So he took a dagger, placed it on her belly, pressed it, and killed her. A child who came between her legs was smeared with the blood that was there. When the morning came, the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) was informed about it.  He assembled the people and said: I adjure by Allah the man who has done this action and I adjure him by my right to him that he should stand up. Jumping over the necks of the people and trembling the man stood up.  He sat before the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) and said: Apostle of Allah! I am her master; she used to abuse you and disparage you. I forbade her, but she did not stop, and I rebuked her, but she did not abandon her habit. I have two sons like pearls from her, and she was my companion. Last night she began to abuse and disparage you. So I took a dagger, put it on her belly and pressed it till I killed her. Thereupon the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Oh be witness, no retaliation is payable for her blood.”[43]

The “prophet of mercy” condones the murder of a wife and his unborn child only because the man claimed she insulted him! This gives any person the right to kill everybody else by claiming that they insulted Mohammad!

Pedophile:

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64: Narrated 'Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).[44]

Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3311: 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) married her when she was seven years old, and he was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine, and her dolls were with her; and when he (the Holy Prophet) died she was eighteen years old.[45]

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 151: Narrated 'Aisha:

I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Allah's Apostle used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden, but it was allowed for 'Aisha at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.) (Fateh-al-Bari page 143, Vol.13)[46]

Needless to say, to have relations with a “little girl” that plays with dolls, takes them with her, and has “not yet reached the age of puberty,” is called pedophilia. In fact, even attraction to little children is called pedophilia.

Dirty with lice, intimate with other people’s wives

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 47: Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle used to visit Um Haran bint Milhan, who would offer him reals. Um-Haram was the wife of Ubada bin As-Samit. Allah's Apostle, once visited her and she provided him with food and started looking for lice in his head. Then Allah's Apostle slept, and afterwards woke up smiling. Um Haran asked, "What causes you to smile, O Allah's Apostle?" He said. "Some of my followers who (in a dream) were presented before me as fighters in Allah's Cause (on board a ship) amidst this sea cause me to smile; they were as kings on the thrones (or like kings on the thrones)." (Ishaq, a sub-narrator is not sure as to which expression the Prophet used.) Um-Haram said, "O Allah's Apostle! Invoke Allah that he makes me one of them. Allah's Apostle invoked Allah for her and slept again and woke up smiling. Once again Um Haram asked, "What makes you smile, O Allah's Apostle?" He replied, "Some of my followers were presented to me as fighters in Allah's Cause," repeating the same dream. Um-Haram said, "O Allah's Apostle! Invoke Allah that He makes me one of them." He said, "You are amongst the first ones." It happened that she sailed on the sea during the Caliphate of Mu'awlya bin Abi Sufyan, and after she disembarked, she fell down from her riding animal and died.[47]

Apart from the fact that the “Apostle of Allah” was so dirty that he had lice, he was overly intimate with the wives of other people. Ironically, such intimate dealing with women is banned in Islamic countries, which is an implicit admittance that Mohammad was immoral.

Earns his living from war booty

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 53, Number 351: Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: Allah's Apostle said, "Booty has been made legal for me."[48]

Sahih Bukhari & Musnad Ahmad: Narrated Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet said, "My livelihood is under the shade of my spear [i.e. from the war spoils], and he who disobeys my orders will be humiliated and pay the Jizya [obligatory tax]."[49]

Sleeping with the dead?

[Mohammad is talking about Fatima’s burial, the mother of his cousin Ali]: “I dressed her up in my shirt so that she will be dressed in the clothes of Heaven, and slept with her in her grave to decrease the ‘pressure of the grave.’”[50]

The Hanbali school of Islamic jurisprudence (considered to be the most conservative) does not give any punishment for having relations with the dead.[51]

Desecration & vandalism of graves:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 30, Number 92: Narrated Anas:

The Prophet came to Medina and ordered a mosque to be built and said, "O Bani Najjar! Suggest to me the price (of your land)." They said, "We do not want its price except from Allah" (i.e. they wished for a reward from Allah for giving up their land freely). So, the Prophet ordered the graves of the pagans to be dug out and the land to be levelled, and the date-palm trees to be cut down.[52]

Despising the blind:

“He [Mohammad] frowned and turned away, because there came to him the blind man… [So Allah reprimands Mohammad:] But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, and he fears, from him will you divert yourself. By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction… (ABASA/80, 1-2, 8-11)

Despising the poor and favoring the rich to increase number of followers:

“And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, they desire only His favor; neither are you answerable for any reckoning of theirs, nor are they answerable for any reckoning of yours, so that you should drive them away and thus be of the unjust.” (AL-ANAAM/6, 52)

Al-Jalalayn explains: And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord at morning and evening desiring, through their worship, His countenance, exalted be He, and not [desiring] any of the transient things of this world - and these are the poor. The idolaters had reviled them and demanded that he [the Prophet] expel them, so that they could sit with him. The Prophet (s) wanted [to do] this, because of his desire that they become Muslims.[53]

Mohammad urinates and does not wash

Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 1, Number 0042: Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) urinated and Umar was standing behind him with a jug of water. He said: What is this, Umar? He replied: Water for you to perform ablution with. He said: I have not been commanded to perform ablution every time I urinate. If I were to do so, it would become a sunnah. (ibid. 0042)

Sexual obsession

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 5, Number 268: Narrated Qatada: Anas bin Malik said, "The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men)."[54]

Mohammad allows a camel to enter a mosque

A man upon a camel entered, he then made the camel sit in the Mosque, tied it, and asked: ‘Which one of you is Mohammad?’ and the Apostle of Allah was sitting at the back of them, so we said to him: ‘He’s that white person sitting there.’ The man called him ‘Son of Abdul Muttalib’, and Mohammad replied, the man told him “Mohammad I ask you etc.” and he continued the conversation” [55]
